Scott, dont keep us in suspense! I am assuming it is an electric melter.....Electroglass, stadleman, other ? What is the capacity ?Larry C
Yay!! Are you going to christen it with a bottle of champagne???
Larry,Nothing so expensive. I is an Aim Wiremelter Furnace with an 85 pound pot. I plan to melt either C4-gabbert cullet or Spectrum Nuggets. Have not pulled the trigger on that one yet. The crucibles are on back order so I will start it up with a 40 pound pot that I have already to to play around as soon as my glory is finished. Scott..
Phos,I drank had a toast last night at Ozones Pizza, does that count?Scott..
Stick with the spectrum if possible. It is a lot more consistent and the quality of the finished glass is excellent. I rent time from one of the NW distributors for them and it is all he uses in his electroglass.Larry C
Ohhhhh, new toys are so much fun! Glad you finally got it.
Hi! Love the header here (could stare at it for hours), but I especially LOVE the photos of your pumpkin glass at the end of the blog here. And to think I nearly missed them! That'll learn me for being so delinquent on stopping by to get acquainted! Good to finally be meeting you!
Hope your spectrum nuggets don't over heat!!
